Reader Tami seen this unique aqua American Standard porcelain sink recorded available for sale on E Bay. The sink’s twice not-very-annular bowls… perhaps not-really-square-shape with maybe not-very-square hudee ring… luscious aqua shade… and first faucet with twin built in soap dispensers are unlike fairly anything we’ve actually noticed before. It appears like there’s a… stick-shift demanded? Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines…

Quite difficult to find among these everywhere. Sorta reminds as some thing that would be on the Jetson’s.

–Sink measurements & information–

  • American Regular Industrial Original Porcelain Cast-Iron sink Establish from 1966
  • This sink is in good shape with minor use & tear

This sink comes with all subsequent original & comprised

  • Faucet, I haven’t tried it to see whether it works escapes or correctly. It’s also marked American Regular

Pam claims that working-this sink resembles it’d demand exactly the same ability she needed to push her father’s stick on-the-column Datsun pick up circa 1975.

  • Cord pull knob with cord, will not move, possibly able to free up it or change. I’m not certain what this was for but possibly a rubbish disposer or drain nearer.
  • Stamped on the base it states 42 x 21 in. Width/Duration
  • The sink continues to be lightly cleaned

  • Initial porcelain enamel finish has wear & tear -few pings in dings but over all in good shape
  • I did uncover a chip but it is up to the cast-iron, it’s on the upper-right of the bowl between the bowls.
  • It comes with scuffs and scratches, possibly able to shine out it.
  • This was just cleaned and there’s some soil/build up around faucet and the band.
  • As they’re part of the description please see all photographs.
  •  This sink weights likely 200 300 lbs.

1960s-kitchen-sink-retro With all its built in attributes, this sink should have been cutting-edge in 1966. Whether this sink were in my kitchen, I’m not certain I ‘d manage to find out the way to turn on the water and fix the temperature.
